Bogle Vineyards is a winery located in California that has been producing award-winning wines for over 50 years. The winery was founded by Warren Bogle in 1968, and today, it is still family-owned and operated by the Bogle family. The winery’s motto is “great wine at a fair price,” and it is clear that they take this seriously, as their wines are consistently of high quality while remaining affordable.
What sets Bogle Vineyards apart from other wineries is their commitment to sustainability. They have implemented several environmentally friendly practices in their vineyards, such as using cover crops to control erosion, reducing water usage through drip irrigation, and using owl boxes to control rodents instead of harmful pesticides. This commitment to sustainability not only benefits the environment but also produces better quality grapes that result in better-tasting wines.
Bogle Vineyards produces a wide range of wines, including Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Zinfandel. They are particularly known for their Petite Sirah, which is full-bodied and bursting with dark fruit flavors. Their Chardonnay is also a crowd-pleaser, with crisp apple and pear notes and a hint of vanilla.
